Sri Achaleshwara Temple

Hindupur Achala Ashram

A sacred space for spiritual awakening and Sadhana

Sri Jayadevarya GuruMa’s disciples are spread across the southern states of India. At the request of devotees and spiritual seekers in Hindupur, GuruMa established the Hindupur branch of Achala Ashram in 1980. Since then, the Ashram has served as a spiritual centre where many seekers have found guidance, inspiration, and an opportunity to pursue the path of self-enquiry and spiritual awakening.

The vision

An offering to the Guru Parampara

Spiritual growth unfolds through a progressive journey of Bhakti, Yoga, Dhyana, meditation, and Satsang. To continue and strengthen this sacred legacy, our Guruji envisioned the establishment of Sri Achaleshwara Temple, dedicated to Moola Guru Sri Dakshinamurthy, at the Hindupur Achala Ashram campus.

Its purpose

More than a place of worship

The temple is conceived not merely as a place of worship, but as a sacred environment for spiritual practice, contemplation, and inner transformation. It will provide spiritual seekers, devotees, and residents of Hindupur an atmosphere conducive to Sadhana, meditation, Satsang, and the pursuit of higher awareness.

Sri Achaleshwara Temple is therefore an offering to the Guru Parampara — a sacred space dedicated to the spiritual upliftment of all seekers.
