Mission
The mission of Achala Ashram is to promote spiritual growth, cultivate inner peace, nurture the quest within, and facilitate the realization of the ultimate purpose of human existence. Additionally, our aim is to inspire compassion, fostering a commitment to serve society with love and kindness.
Genesis
Achala Seva Samaj was founded in 1966 by BhramaSri Dr. Seetharamaiah Swamiji. Subsequently, in 1968, Guru Matha Jayadevarya established Achala Ashram. Guru Matha Jayadevarya Sadguru was a disciple of the Sri. Venkatarya Sadhguru, who belonged to the Achala Guru Parampara. Guru Matha attained Maha Samadhi on October 31, 1988, and since then, the lineage has been continued by the present Achala Guru, BrahmaSri Dr. Gururaj Guruji.
Achala Ashram operates as a non-profit spiritual organization under the management of Achala Guru Jayadevarya Seva Samaj, a registered Society under the Karnataka Societies Act, 1960.
The ashram imparts ancient yogic methods systematically tailored for the modern individual, addressing overall physical, mental, and emotional well-being. This guidance is provided personally by BrahmaSri Dr. Gururaj Guruji.
