In Indian philosophical knowledge, unlike contemporary religions, there exists an ever-evolving flow of wisdom. Each Rishi or saint passed down their observations and wisdom to disciples, who, in turn, added their insights to the knowledge pool, carrying it forward to the next generation. This continuous transmission of knowledge from guru to disciple is known as Guru Parampara. Through this process, new interpretations of truth, meditation techniques, and explanations are recorded in our scriptures, contributing to the rich spiritual diversity in Indian philosophical thought. Despite the myriad paths, the ultimate goal remains singular—the 'Absolute.'
Achala Guru Parampara stands as an ancient philosophical lineage of masters who have significantly contributed to Indian spiritual knowledge. While the fundamental essence of the philosophy traces its origins to the Vedanta scriptures, it was Yogi Vemana who established Achala Siddhanta as a distinctive philosophical theory. Over the course of more than 700 years, this philosophy has been practiced and propagated throughout the country. Key proponents of this philosophy include Sri. Sridhara Swamy, Sri. Shivarama Deekshita, Sri. Krishna Deshika Prabhu, Sri. Pokala Sheshachala Swamy, Sri. Adoni Bojaraja Avadhutha, Sri. Ramananda Swamy, Sri. Venaktarya Sadguru, Sri. Matha Jayadevarya Sadguru, and this Guru Parampara continues to this day.
